U.S History Early Civilization - Reconstruction
In this course we study the history of our nation from Exploration & Colonization to the Civil War & Reconstruction. We examine the history, sociology, economy, and geography of the United States with a special emphasis on the Constitution, citizenship, and foundations of our government. We explore the people, places, and events that make the United States so unique while utilizing critical thinking skills and applying the concepts we learn about the past to the events happening in our lives today.

Seventh Grade Texas History
Welcome to Coach Smith's United States History Website. Seventh Grade Texas History is the study of the history of Texas from Colonization to the Civil War and Reconstruction through present day. Students will study the history, sociology, economy, and geography of Texas as well as learning critical thinking skills. Special emphasis will be placed on student understanding the foundation of our state's government. In addition, students will discover the individual people, issues, and events that make our state unique.
